State GOP Welcomes Mitt Romney To Arkansas
Webb: Romney “will help restore America as the best place in the world to find a job, start a business or hire a worker”
Little Rock, Ark. – Republican Party of Arkansas Chairman Doyle Webb released the following statement welcoming Republican presidential nominee Gov. Mitt Romney to the state:
"We are honored to welcome Gov. Mitt Romney to Arkansas – a state that will not only elect the Romney/Ryan ticket to the White House, but will elect a new conservative majority in Little Rock that will offer bold reforms and put our state back on the comeback trail.
“After three and a half years of unemployment above 8 percent, over $700 billion in cuts to Medicare and trillions being added to the national debt, hardworking Arkansas taxpayers deserve more jobs and more take-home pay and Mitt Romney’s plan will help restore America as the best place in the world to find a job, start a business or hire a worker.
“Mitt Romney's visit shows how much he values our state's support and stands in contrast to the nearly six-year gap since President Obama's last visit to Arkansas where he and Gov. Beebe stood shoulder-to-shoulder together.
“In November, we look forward to Arkansas giving the Romney/Ryan ticket the highest margin of victory in the nation.”
