Republican Party of Iowa Applauds Selection of John Archer as 2012 National Convention Speaker
DES MOINES, Iowa– The Republican Party of Iowa released the following statement from Iowa GOP Chairman A.J. Spiker regarding the selection of Second Congressional District candidate John Archer to address the Republican National Convention on Monday.
“I am very excited that the rest of America will be introduced to John Archer when he addresses the Republican National Convention on Monday. This is a great opportunity to showcase some of the outstanding candidates we have on the ballot in Iowa this year. John and Iowa Republicans are working very hard in Eastern Iowa to defeat Congressman Loebsack. We need people like John, who has spent his life working in the private sector, in Congress. I am confident that all of John’s hard work will pay off and Iowa will be voting to send him along with a full Republican delegation to Congress in November.”
