Obama for America Releases New Television Ad: “Stretch”
CHICAGO -- Obama for America released a new television advertisement today titled “Stretch” that highlights how the Romney Tax Hike would raise taxes on millions of middle-class families with children by more than $2,000 to pay for his $5 trillion tax plan tilted to the wealthiest. Even though Mitt Romney paid only 14% in taxes on $20 million of income, Romney asks the middle-class to pick up the tab for millionaires’ tax breaks. Under the Romney Tax Hike, he pays less and the middle-class pays more.
“Stretch” will air in New Hampshire, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Colorado, Nevada.
"You work hard, stretch every penny, but chances are you pay a higher tax rate than him: Mitt Romney made $20 million dollars in 2010, but paid only 14% in taxes—probably less than you.
Now he has a plan that will give millionaires another tax break and raises taxes on middle class families by up to $2000 dollars a year. Mitt Romney's middle class tax increase: he pays less, you pay more."
