RPNM Statement on Romney Victory in New Mexico

Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Monty Newman released the following statement on Mitt Romney’s victory in the New Mexico Republican presidential primary:
 
“I congratulate Governor Romney on his victory in today’s New Mexico primary election. Mitt’s pro-jobs agenda and his commitment to a limited role for government and lower taxes are exactly what our state -- and this country -- needs. Republicans in New Mexico are energized and ready to move full speed ahead to elect Mitt Romney as the next president of the United States.
 
“Having abandoned ‘Hope and Change,' the Obama campaign only ‘Hopes To Change The Subject' from May’s abysmal jobs report. President Obama's policies have failed to get Americans back to work – it’s time for a president who has worked in the real world economy and understands how to get this economy moving again.
 
“America needs Governor Romney’s leadership to set things right.  Even former president Bill Clinton has said that Mitt Romney has a ‘sterling business career.’ He’s taken over failing enterprises and turned them around.  Mitt can turn our country around and we are ready to get to work to make sure he is the next President of the United States of America."
