NEW KERRY RESPONSE AD ASKS - How can you solve a problem when you can’t see it?

Washington, DC – With the Bush campaign continuing to air false, misleading ads in an attempt to cover up the president’s failures, the Kerry-Edwards campaign Monday launched the new response ad “Doesn’t Get It.”

Using the president’s recent comments about doing the “mission accomplished event” all over again, the 30-second spot reveals what George Bush uses attacks and his fantasyland descriptions to hide - that he does not see the problems in Iraq or have a plan to deal with them.

"Juvenile" New Kerry-Edwards 2004 TV Ad

New Kerry Ad Condemns Bush for Tasteless Attack Ad

Washington, DC – Taking to the airwaves with a new ad titled “Juvenile,” the Kerry-Edwards campaign today is condemning George W. Bush for responding to the deteriorating situation in Iraq by running a juvenile and tasteless attack ad.

The ad will air in the same markets as the new Bush ad “Windsurfing.”

“This week has seen a further deterioration of chaos in Iraq,” said Kerry-Edwards spokesperson Mike McCurry. “And the response from George W. Bush and his campaign?  A shrug of the shoulder from the president at the U.N., and an advertisement that takes a lighthearted approach to the war in Iraq.  Mr. President, this is a shameful advertisement that shows a disturbing disregard for those fighting and sacrificing in Iraq, and you should repudiate it immediately.”

While the president attacks his opponent as events deteriorate on the ground, Kerry has a plan to win the peace and avoid failure in Iraq, including getting our allies involved, speeding up the training of Iraqi security forces and taking the necessary steps to hold elections next year.

"Windsurfing" New Bush-Cheney '04 TV Ad

Bush-Cheney '04 Launches New Television Advertisement, "Windsurfing"

ARLINGTON, VA -- Today, Bush-Cheney '04 announced the release of the campaign's newest television advertisement, "Windsurfing."  The ad highlights John Kerry's tendency to go whichever way the wind blows on the most important issues facing our nation, including the War on Terror, education reform and health care.  The ad will rotate in on national cable and in select local markets.

Script For "Windsurfing"

President Bush:

I’m George W. Bush and I approve this message.

Voice Over:

In which direction would John Kerry lead? Kerry voted for the Iraq war, opposed it, supported it, and now opposes it again. He bragged about voting for the 87 billion to support our troops before he voted against it. He voted for education reform and now opposes it. He claims he’s against increasing Medicare premiums, but voted five times to do so. John Kerry. Whichever way the wind blows.

"Uninsured" New Kerry-Edwards 2004 TV Ad

New Ad Contrasts Kerry Plan to Cut Health Costs with Bush’s Record of Failure and Plan to Raise Costs

Washington, DC – The Kerry-Edwards campaign Tuesday unveiled a new 30-second television ad pointing out the very real differences between the health care plans of John Kerry and George W. Bush.

While Kerry has a plan to lower costs and expand access to coverage, the ad reminds voters that President Bush’s wrong choices have sent prices skyrocketing, and his wrong plans for America would increase premiums for four out of five small businesses and increase the uninsured by over one million individuals.

“When it comes to health care, George Bush’s approach has taken America in the wrong direction,” Kerry-Edwards spokesperson Phil Singer said. “He’s chosen to help his special interest friends instead of cutting the health care costs of ordinary Americans. John Kerry will move this country in a new direction with lower costs for families and businesses.”

The ad, called “Uninsured,” will start airing this week in battleground states. It can be viewed at www.johnkerry.com
